About Varna
Varna Naik started tutoring mathematics 10+ years ago at a local community college. It was through this first experience that she learned that math isn't everyone's favorite subject, not only that most students struggle with math and as a result "math anxiety" is a real thing. Maths applicability, practicality, and beauty speak for itself. Out of this, Mathematics for Humanity was born. With the initial goal of helping humanity through tutoring only mathematics and offering the service as an in-home based program, it came to light that students needed more than just mathematics support. Educators on the Road was born out of this need, the need for a full academic support program that continued to support students in-home. Over the last 10 years, she has personally tutored over 500 students across NY, NJ, CT, MA. Now Varna seeks to use her experience to expand into all other subject areas with a support staff and team that will help every learner along their learning pathway.

When a student first contacts us our first goal is to find out their specific needs and goals. To accomplish this we usually set up an initial phone conversation with the student and/or parent/guardian. During this time we discuss with the clients their scheduling needs, rates and fees. Depending on needs we may move further and schedule a free initial session to administer an assessment/diagnostic or Mock test if it's for test preparation. After this we begin tutoring sessions/lessons and as we progress we will cater to the students specific learning styles with individualized lessons and resources.
