About Arhum

I am an experienced tutor with eight years of teaching across math, science, English, and major standardized exams. Ranked in the top of both my undergraduate and medical school classes and scoring in the 99th percentile on the SAT, ACT, and MCAT, I bring a strong academic foundation to every lesson. My rates reflect the level of support, experience, and personalization I provide for each student. High school subjects and standardized test preparation (SAT, ACT, PSAT) are billed at $60 per hour, while college-level courses and MCAT preparation are billed at $70 per hour due to the increased depth and complexity of the material. All lessons include customized planning, curated practice resources, and ongoing guidance outside of sessions when needed. I also offer a free 30-minute consultation so students and families can get a sense of my teaching style before committing to regular sessions. Weekly scheduling is preferred, but I am flexible and always aim to accommodate each student’s needs.
