About Usamah
I hold a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the National University of Sciences and Technology, one of Pakistan's leading engineering institutions, and my degree has been verified by the tutoring platform I currently teach on.
Over the past two years I have taught more than 550 one-to-one online lessons, holding a 4.5 rating across those, with perfect scores from students on preparation, progress and reassurance. My students have ranged from nine-year-olds writing their first line of Python to university engineering students working through final-year projects, and they come from the United States, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
Alongside teaching, I work with embedded systems, circuit and PCB design, and autonomous drones. I have interned in embedded engineering, built flight avionics and unmanned aerial vehicles, and worked on computer vision systems. This is the part of my background that students tell me matters most, because I am explaining tools I use rather than tools I have only read about.
I take punctuality and preparation seriously. I turn up on time, I prepare for each lesson in advance based on what we covered last, and I keep parents informed about how their child is progressing. If a student is struggling with something, I will say so plainly and we will work on it, rather than pretending everything is fine.
I speak English at C2 level and teach entirely in English. I am patient by nature and I do not believe anyone is inherently bad at technical subjects. Almost always, they were just taught badly the first time.

I'm an electrical engineer and I've taught over 550+ one-to-one lessons online. My approach starts from logic rather than memorization: most students who think they're bad at programming have simply been shown syntax before they were shown why any of it works. Once the reasoning clicks, the code follows.
A typical lesson runs the same way. We spend a few minutes on where you got stuck, then I explain one concept using screen sharing and a real example, and then you write code yourself while I watch and correct in real time. You leave every lesson having built something small that runs, and with a short task to attempt before we next meet. I don't lecture for an hour and I don't solve problems for you.
What sets me apart is that programming is what I actually do, not just what I teach. I build embedded systems, circuits and drones, so I can show you where a concept lands in the real world instead of stopping at the textbook.
My lessons are for complete beginners of any age, secondary school students preparing for IGCSE, O Level, A Level, AP or IB Computer Science, university students who need help with assignments and final-year projects, and adults changing career into tech. I teach Python and C++ mainly, along with algorithms, data structures, databases, networking basics, MATLAB, and Arduino and STM32 for anyone interested in hardware.
Starting from zero is completely normal, and so is feeling behind your classmates. In our first lesson we'll work out your level and your goal, and agree a plan and a regular weekly time from there.
