I am an energetic and hard-working 33-year-old elementary teacher with more than 7 years of experience. I use an approach that is based on the science of reading and applied to learning the French language. Typically lessons and progressions will include phonemic awareness activities, recognizing the basic French sounds, writing the basic French sounds, using phonological abilities to write words, and finally putting it all together to read as well as comprehend different texts. I am currently an elementary French immersion teacher in Ontario and this is a structured approach that I use with my students every day. If you are looking for a tutor to help you or your child learn the French sounds, improve your oral ability, and ultimately begin to read and write in French then I am the right tutor for you.
