About Emma
I’ve taught for 23 years. During the last 23 years I’ve taught Kindergarten through fifth grade. I’ve also been a math and reading intervention teacher for the last nine years. My passion is helping struggling students. I’m also certified to teach English speakers of other languages.

I’m training in the Science of Reading. I love to find the areas that a student struggles and helping them excel.
I use Heggerty and Orton Gillingham strategies. This has helped me teach countless students to read better. I adjust my lessons based on specific assessments I give the students.
