About Christy
I’m a passionate Elementary School Teacher with a BA, BEd from Bishop's University and a TESL certification from McGill. I currently live in Montreal and teach at an all-girls private school in Westmount. With six years of experience in both public and private schools, I specialize in creating fun, inclusive learning environments where every student feels supported. I’m all about helping kids discover a love for learning and guiding them as they grow. I have experience working one-on-one with students to address their unique needs and help them build confidence in their skills. Outside of teaching, I love cooking, staying active, going on hikes, and spending time with my dog Willow. I’m excited to continue helping students reach their full potential!

I love making learning fun and personalized. I create lessons that are tailored to each student, using interactive activities, real-life examples, and guided lessons that keep things engaging. I make sure to base lessons on each student's interests, whether it's animals, sports, or something else they love! A typical lesson includes a quick warm-up, interactive activities, and a review to make sure everything sticks. What sets me apart is how I adapt each lesson to fit the student’s needs, so they always feel supported and confident.
