About Kate
I earned my bachelor’s degree in Biology and have always loved working with children. Over the past six years of tutoring, I’ve discovered that what I enjoy most is helping young students realize they are capable of understanding math. I believe patience, encouragement, and clear explanations make all the difference. Outside of tutoring, I’m naturally curious and love learning, which is something I try to pass on to every student I work with.

With six years of private tutoring experience and a year working in New York City public schools, I specialize in helping elementary students build strong math foundations. I’m patient, engaging, and especially experienced working with children with ADHD and autism. I am supportive and will help build confidence in your child to reduce math anxiety, and make learning feel achievable and even fun.
