About Brian

With more than 9 years of experience teaching Piano, I enjoy helping college students reach their musical goals through structured and engaging lessons. My aim is to make every class enjoyable while building strong technical and creative skills.

My teaching approach is based on patience, flexibility, and clear communication. I adapt lessons according to each student's learning style and explain concepts using simple English and practical demonstrations.

I use innovative learning methods including digital music resources, ear training, rhythm activities, keyboard drills, and song-based practice. These techniques help students stay motivated while developing a deeper understanding of music.

Students improve note reading, finger techniques, scales, chords, posture, timing, and expressive performance. I monitor progress regularly and provide personalized guidance that encourages continuous improvement.

About the lesson

My teaching philosophy combines communication, creativity, flexibility, and continuous encouragement. I believe piano lessons should be enjoyable while helping students build discipline, confidence, and strong musical skills. Every lesson is personalized according to the student's experience and goals.

Students begin by learning proper posture, hand coordination, finger exercises, rhythm, note reading, and music theory. Once these basics are mastered, they continue with scales, chords, articulation, dynamics, pedal techniques, expressive performance, sight reading, and musical interpretation.

I explain every concept through demonstrations, guided practice, listening activities, and simple examples. Students receive regular assessments, personalized practice routines, and constructive feedback to help them improve consistently.

Students explore many musical genres while developing creativity through improvisation, accompaniment, and expressive performance. These activities strengthen artistic confidence and musical expression.

Besides piano, I teach keyboard, rhythm training, ear training, music theory, sight reading, music appreciation, beginner composition, and performance preparation. These additional subjects help students become complete musicians.

My mission is to inspire students to enjoy every lesson and continue growing as confident pianists.
