About Eva

I am a passionate Piano teacher with 17 years of teaching experience. Throughout my teaching career, I have helped school students, college students, and working professionals improve their skills and build confidence as musicians.

My teaching philosophy centres on creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment. I believe students perform best when they feel motivated and understood. Therefore, I tailor lessons according to each student's goals, abilities, and interests.

Students in my classes learn piano techniques, scales, chords, rhythm exercises, music notation, sight reading, ear training, and performance preparation. I focus on helping students understand music while developing proper technique and musical expression.

In addition to Piano, I teach music theory, keyboard skills, and listening exercises that strengthen overall musicianship. I encourage students to explore different musical styles and develop their own creative voice.

My patient teaching style and clear explanations help students overcome challenges and achieve steady progress. I am committed to making Piano learning enjoyable, meaningful, and accessible to everyone.

About the lesson

My teaching approach focuses on communication, creativity, flexibility, and student-centred learning. Every student has different strengths, interests, and learning styles, so I prepare lessons that support individual growth while maintaining steady progress.

The learning process starts with posture, hand coordination, rhythm, finger exercises, note reading, and music theory. Students then continue with scales, chords, dynamics, articulation, pedal techniques, sight reading, and expressive performance through carefully planned lessons.

I encourage students to understand music deeply by connecting theory with practical playing. They are motivated to ask questions, practise consistently, and perform with confidence. Regular reviews help students recognise their progress and identify areas for improvement.

Different musical genres are introduced throughout the learning journey to keep lessons enjoyable. Creative activities such as accompaniment and simple improvisation improve listening skills and musical confidence.

Along with piano, I teach keyboard fundamentals, ear training, rhythm development, music theory, performance preparation, sight reading, and music appreciation. These additional subjects provide a complete musical education.

My aim is to help students become skilled, creative, and confident musicians while enjoying every stage of their musical development.
