About Jasper

I am a passionate Piano tutor with 12 years of teaching experience, helping school students, college students, and working professionals learn music with confidence and enjoyment. My goal is to make Piano learning simple, effective, and inspiring for every student.

My teaching approach is based on patience, communication, and personalised instruction. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons according to individual goals, interests, and learning styles. Whether you are a beginner or an intermediate learner, I provide clear guidance and support throughout your musical journey.

My lessons cover piano techniques, scales, chords, rhythm training, sight reading, ear training, music theory, and performance preparation. I also teach students how to build productive practice habits that lead to consistent improvement.

In addition to Piano, I teach keyboard skills, music theory, and musical listening exercises. I encourage students to explore their creativity while developing strong technical skills and musical understanding.

I believe that learning music should be enjoyable and rewarding. Through encouragement and structured learning, I help students gain confidence, improve their skills, and develop a lifelong appreciation for music.

About the lesson

My teaching philosophy is to make piano learning simple, practical, and enjoyable. Through communication, creativity, flexibility, and patience, I guide students step by step while helping them develop confidence and a genuine love for music.

Every lesson begins with strengthening the basics, including posture, hand position, rhythm, finger exercises, note reading, and music theory. After building a strong foundation, students move on to scales, chords, arpeggios, expressive playing, dynamics, sight reading, and performance techniques.

I explain each topic clearly using practical examples that are easy to understand. Students are encouraged to ask questions and participate actively during lessons. Regular reviews and constructive feedback help them improve steadily.

Students explore a variety of musical styles, allowing them to discover new interests while developing creativity and performance confidence. Improvisation and accompaniment exercises are introduced gradually as students progress.

Besides piano, I teach keyboard techniques, rhythm exercises, ear training, music theory, sight reading, music appreciation, and performance preparation. These subjects strengthen both practical skills and musical understanding.

My mission is to help every student enjoy learning, reach their goals, and continue developing as confident musicians.
