About Petra
With 10 years of experience as a violin instructor, I have had the opportunity to teach school students, college learners, and working professionals from diverse backgrounds. I enjoy helping students discover their musical talents and develop confidence through learning the violin.
My teaching philosophy focuses on understanding each student's needs and creating lessons that support their individual goals. I believe that patience, regular practice, and positive encouragement are essential for steady progress.
Throughout my teaching career, I have helped numerous students strengthen their technical skills, improve musical expression, and gain confidence in their performances. One of my proudest achievements has been seeing students continue their musical journey with enthusiasm and dedication.
I strive to provide a friendly and supportive learning atmosphere where students feel motivated and inspired to achieve their full potential.

I follow a student-focused teaching approach that combines compassion, supportiveness, and clear communication. I understand that every learner has unique needs, and I adapt my methods to help each student reach their full potential.
In violin classes, I emphasize posture, intonation, bow control, rhythm, and note reading. I break down challenging concepts into smaller steps to make learning easier and more enjoyable.
I encourage regular practice and provide ongoing support to help students remain motivated. Through patience and positive feedback, I help students develop confidence and overcome difficulties.
In addition to violin, I teach music theory, sight reading, ear training, and performance preparation. These subjects help students become stronger and more versatile musicians.
My mission is to help students achieve their goals while enjoying every part of their musical journey.
