About Amber

As a dedicated Singing tutor with 12 years of teaching and professional experience, I work with students from school to college to develop strong vocal techniques, stage confidence, and expressive abilities. I guide learners at all levels to improve breathing, pitch accuracy, tone, and overall performance skills.

One of the proudest milestones in my career has been helping students overcome stage fear and perform confidently in competitions, school programmes, and cultural events.

My teaching approach is structured, personalised, and supportive, including vocal warm-ups, breathing exercises, rhythm practice, pitch training, and expressive song interpretation.

I believe music education builds discipline, creativity, and self-confidence, and I strive to nurture all three in my students while making lessons engaging and enjoyable.

About the lesson

My teaching strategy for Singing integrates technical mastery, emotional intelligence, and collaborative learning. I use flexibility to customise each session according to the student’s vocal strengths, improvement areas, and musical ambitions. Lessons include structured breathing coordination, pitch correction exercises, tonal placement training, articulation drills, dynamic control practice, and interpretative coaching to promote complete vocal development.

Empathy allows me to understand the personal meaning behind each student’s musical journey, while compassion ensures a nurturing and respectful learning environment. Communication is fundamental in my teaching, as I provide detailed explanations and practical demonstrations that clarify complex vocal mechanics.

Collaboration plays a significant role in building accountability, as students actively engage in setting goals, evaluating progress, and preparing for live performances. In addition to Singing, I provide comprehensive instruction in Music Theory, Sight Singing, Ear Training, Vocal Health maintenance, and Stage Performance preparation for well-rounded artistic success.
