About Jack
Hi, I'm Jack, a 27-year-old certified teacher based in Toronto with a genuine passion for helping students grow.Hi, I'm Jack, a 27-year-old certified teacher based in Toronto with a genuine passion for helping students grow. What I love most is taking concepts students find overwhelming and breaking them down into simple, clear language that actually makes sense. I don't just want students to memorize content. I want them to truly understand it and walk away with knowledge that sticks long after the lesson ends.
I am licensed by the Ontario College of Teachers, Canada's equivalent of UK Qualified Teacher Status, and have been teaching Biology, Science, and Maths at the Toronto District School Board since 2025. I also hold a specialist qualification in Special Education and have hands-on experience supporting students with ADHD, learning disabilities, ASD, and hearing impairments in both classroom and tutoring settings. I believe every student is capable of building real confidence in maths and science with the right support, and my goal is always the same: help every student become the best version of themselves, inside and outside the classroom.
Outside of teaching and tutoring I play guitar, lift weights, and love spending time with family and friends.

I specialise in taking concepts students are struggling with and breaking them down into simple, clear language that actually makes sense. I don't teach students to pass a test. I teach them to deeply understand the material so they can apply it confidently on their own. I bring content to life in ways that stick, because real understanding is what builds lasting confidence.
My lessons are tailored to each student individually. Whether your child needs to catch up, keep up, or get ahead, I meet them exactly where they are and build from there. Lessons typically run 60 minutes and are delivered fully online, where I share my iPad screen and write directly on it in real time to explain concepts clearly and bring the content to life.
Alongside my classroom work, I have been tutoring grades 7-10 Maths and Science since 2023, working predominantly with students with learning disabilities, ADHD, and low confidence, and I have had a lot of success helping them turn things around.
