About Nora

With 10 years of experience as a drum tutor, I have had the honour of teaching high school students, college students, and elderly learners. Over the 10 years, I have guided around 150 to 200 students on their musical journey. Teaching drums gives me great happiness and purpose in life. My teaching career has been filled with proud moments. Many of my students have performed in school and college programmes. Some have grown from shy beginners into confident performers. Watching these changes is one of the biggest achievements of my career. I believe that learning music should be simple, joyful, and pressure-free. My teaching style focuses on strong basics, steady timing, and clean technique. I explain concepts in an easy way so students can understand clearly. I also motivate students to practise regularly and believe in their own progress. For elderly learners, I design lessons that are calm and comfortable. For younger students, I keep lessons active and exciting. I respect each student’s learning speed and personal goal. My aim is not just to create good drummers, but also to build confidence, discipline, and joy through music.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology for drums is practical, motivating, and student-friendly. I use real-life examples and case studies from real songs, live shows, and recording sessions. This helps students understand how drum patterns are applied in real performances. Students do not just learn exercises, they learn how to play music with confidence. Motivation plays a key role in my teaching. I always support my students and encourage them to practise regularly. I help them stay focused and enjoy the learning process. When problems arise such as fast rhythms, coordination between hands and feet, or timing mistakes, I use problem-solving methods. I break difficult patterns into small, easy parts for better learning. Integrity guides my teaching values. I am honest about progress and always aim for true improvement. I teach discipline, commitment, and respect for the instrument. Flexibility allows me to adjust my lessons according to age, learning style, and music interest. Besides drums, I also teach music theory, rhythm training, keyboard basics, and performance preparation.
