About Abbey
Abbey is a dance artist based in Toronto - she works primarily as a contemporary dancer and youth dance educator. After graduating from York University's BFA Program, Abbey has gone on to dance with various companies including Wind In The Leaves Collective and Stephanie Lake. She also teaches at community centres and dance studios across the GTA.
For Abbey, dance is an important tool to connect others and act as a mental health therapy from the neck down. There is so much tension in our bodies, creating space for movement is essential for wellbeing.

Abbey's class consists of cardio warmup, stretching, technique, and choreography. You can expect to work on your flexibility, coordination, and memory. Whether jazz, hip-hop, ballet, contemporary, or lyrical - Abbey can teach ages 3- 60+!
Whether you are looking to learn new dance moves to increase your confidence in social settings or get down some of the basics of various techniques, Abbey's supportive and patient approach will help you feel empowered and strong in your dancing.
