About Jalen

I am a dedicated Guitar tutor with 7 years of teaching experience. I teach school students, college students, and working professionals who want to learn guitar for passion, performance, or personal growth. Over the years, I have guided beginners as well as advanced learners to reach their goals with confidence.

My teaching philosophy is based on strong fundamentals and personal guidance. I believe that once a student understands the basics clearly, learning becomes easier and more enjoyable. I focus on chords, rhythm, scales, finger exercises, and music theory in a step-by-step manner. I adjust my teaching style based on the student’s age, level, and interest.

Throughout my journey, many of my students have performed in competitions, college fests, cultural programmes, and live events. Some of them have even started their own bands. Seeing their progress and confidence on stage is one of my biggest achievements.

I create a friendly and supportive environment where students feel comfortable to ask questions and express themselves. I believe music builds patience, discipline, and creativity. My goal is not just to teach guitar but to inspire a lifelong love for music.

About the lesson

My Guitar teaching style is personalised and student-focused. I use Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity as my core values.

Every student learns differently. I adjust my teaching speed and methods based on their ability and interest. Some students prefer song-based learning, while others enjoy technical practice.

Motivation plays an important role. I guide students to set achievable goals and appreciate their progress.

Communication helps avoid confusion. I explain chords, scales, strumming patterns, and rhythm exercises in simple language and demonstrate clearly.

Integrity means I teach with dedication and responsibility. I ensure students develop correct posture, smooth transitions, and timing accuracy.

Creativity keeps lessons enjoyable. I encourage improvisation, melody building, and exploring different music genres. I also teach related subjects such as basic music theory, songwriting, and performance preparation.

My aim is to make students independent and expressive musicians.
