About Kevin
Hi! I am an experienced educator and tutor. In college, I studied math and physics, with a minor in Spanish. I tutored and gave classes throughout my time in university, and earned a CRLA International tutoring certification. After university, I won a Fulbright Scholarship to work as an English instructor in Colombia. I am currently studying for my Master's degree in Applied Mathematics in Europe, while still giving private classes in math and physics.

My tutoring philosophy is based around my singular commitment to meeting students where they are at. If you hate your calculus class and just want to get through, I totally understand. If you love physics and want to learn upper-level topics, I'm here to help.
In my sessions, I always begin by asking students what specific goals they hope to achieve. From there, I use a mixture of general discussion and focused practice exercises to develop student knowledge.
My classes are for students of all levels. Most of my students are in late high school and college.
