About Luca
I am a dedicated Saxophone tutor with 18 years of experience teaching students of all age groups and skill levels. I have successfully trained nearly 150 students and helped them grow into confident performers.
My teaching approach focuses on building a strong foundation. I emphasize breath control, embouchure development, fingering accuracy, and tone clarity. I also teach essential music theory concepts such as scales, chords, rhythm patterns, and harmony to ensure students understand the structure of music.
Every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching methods to suit individual learning styles. Some students prefer visual learning, others prefer listening and repetition. I use demonstrations, backing tracks, and interactive exercises to make learning engaging and enjoyable.
I also introduce students to different musical styles including jazz, blues, pop, and classical. I guide them in improvisation techniques and help them develop their own musical voice. My classes are supportive, motivating, and goal-oriented. I focus not only on technical improvement but also on creativity and performance confidence.

My Saxophone teaching style combines structured learning, creativity, and mentorship to ensure long-term growth. I focus on teaching correct posture, breathing technique, embouchure formation, finger coordination, tone quality, articulation, and rhythm accuracy. Lessons are designed to be easy to follow and suitable for all learning levels.
Creativity is an essential part of my approach. Students are encouraged to explore musical ideas, experiment with sound, and practice improvisation in a guided manner. I mentor students by motivating them, supporting their progress, and helping them build confidence and consistency.
Critical thinking is encouraged by teaching students how to understand musical patterns, rhythm structures, and scale relationships. Accountability is maintained through organized practice routines, regular feedback, and achievable learning goals. Along with Saxophone, I also teach Music Theory, Sight Reading, Ear Training, and Performance Basics.
