My Teaching Approach
As an engineer involved in research projects, I have developed a strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving approach. I believe that mathematics becomes much easier when students understand the logic behind a concept rather than simply memorizing formulas or procedures.
My teaching focuses on building strong fundamentals, conceptual clarity, and problem-solving skills. I encourage students to ask questions freely and make mistakes, as I believe that understanding mistakes is an important part of learning.
Structure of a Typical Class
A typical class generally follows this structure:
Quick revision: Review previously covered concepts and clarify any doubts.
Concept building: Introduce the new topic step-by-step using simple explanations and examples.
Guided practice: Solve problems together, gradually allowing the student to take the lead.
Independent practice: Give the student problems to solve independently to assess understanding.
Doubt solving & feedback: Discuss mistakes, identify areas for improvement, and summarize the key concepts learned.
I also adjust the pace of the class based on the student's understanding rather than rushing through the syllabus.
What Makes My Teaching Different
My background in engineering and research helps me approach problems logically and systematically. I try to make mathematics less intimidating and more intuitive by connecting abstract concepts with practical examples wherever possible.
