About Malvin
My name is Malvin, I am 28 years old. I have been teaching for about 5 years now while I work full time as an engineer. I like teaching as I have always enjoyed helping students in need as well as pass on the method of learning that I used when I was your age.
I used to be a typical student, love to play sports, computer games but one thing which allowed me to do that was from the method of teaching that was thought to me by teacher in school. To date I would say he is one the best physics teacher I have ever seen. He made me love math and physics and from failing my add maths in form, I managed to get an A+ in SPM and continue to go on to be a Mechanical Engineer.
I understand what it is like to be a student in this time and age and I want to pass on this method to the future engineers, doctors, lawyers etc. If I could do it, so can you !

My method of teaching is very different from the rest, I will teach them the fundamentals and let them apply it. I believe that is the only way for the student to grasp what he/she is learning. I do not spoon feed my students. This is how I was thought by my teacher, the role of a teacher is just 40% the balance 60% is effort to be put in by the student. I am not strict, but if the student proves to be stubborn or lazy then I will adjust accordingly.
The length of a lesson should be about 1 hour 30mins.I am a Mechanical Engineer and have about 5 years experience of teaching math and physics for students age 14-18(SPM).
