About Kamesh

Hello! My name is Kamesh Fernando, and I am a dedicated mathematics tutor specializing in Grade 1 to Grade 6 students. I am an Engineering graduate from the University of the West of England and have been teaching individual and online mathematics classes since 2014.

With over 12 years of teaching experience, I have helped many students build strong mathematical foundations, improve their problem-solving skills, and gain confidence in the subject. My teaching style is patient, supportive, and tailored to each student's learning pace, ensuring that every lesson is engaging and easy to understand.

I believe that every child can excel in mathematics with the right guidance and encouragement. My lessons focus on developing conceptual understanding rather than memorization, using clear explanations, practical examples, and interactive exercises.

Whether your child needs help with schoolwork, exam preparation, homework, or strengthening core math skills, I am committed to providing professional, high-quality instruction that helps students achieve their academic goals and enjoy learning mathematics.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is patient, engaging, and focused on building confidence in mathematics. I explain mathematical concepts step by step using simple language, visual examples, and real-life applications to make learning enjoyable and easy to understand. Each lesson includes guided practice, problem-solving activities, and regular reviews to strengthen understanding and improve accuracy. I adapt my teaching methods to match each student's learning pace and individual needs.

A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes and includes concept explanation, worked examples, interactive exercises, and practice questions to reinforce learning.

I am an engineering graduate from the University of the West of England with 12 years of experience teaching mathematics to Grade 1 to Grade 6 students. My engineering background provides a strong foundation in logical thinking and problem-solving, which I incorporate into my lessons.

My classes are designed for students in Grade 1 to Grade 6 who want to improve their mathematical skills, build confidence, prepare for school assessments, strengthen their understanding of key concepts, or receive additional support with homework.
