About Nick
My aims as a tutor are simple: (1) to help you unlock effective learning styles and your unique strengths; (2) to help develop your foundation in maths and science; and, (3) to show you the incredible ways in which scientific concepts are applied in the real world. I know how difficult learning these subjects can be, especially when your brain is wired differently than others'. At the GCSE level, I struggled a lot in some areas, such as reading comprehension and abstract thinking; now, I hold a first-class degree in engineering (BASc, Geological Engineering, Queen's University, Canada) and am working on a PhD at the University of Cambridge (Earth Sciences). I discovered learning styles that worked for me, and so can you! You will find me to be a good listener, patient, enthusiastic and dedicated.

I am passionate about creating personalized learning pathways for neurodivergent students, ensuring lessons are tailored to their unique needs and strengths. As someone with ADHD, I understand the challenges of traditional learning methods.
