My Approach as a Tutor I focus on helping students truly understand the material instead of just memorizing it. I explain topics step by step, check for understanding with questions, and provide examples that connect to real life so the student sees why the subject matters. I also give practice problems during the lesson to reinforce learning. A Typical Lesson Warm-Up: Quick review of previous concepts or homework. New Topic: Clear explanation with examples and visuals if needed. Guided Practice: We solve problems together, and I show different ways to approach them. Independent Practice: The student works through problems while I support and correct mistakes. Wrap-Up: Summarize key takeaways and assign light practice for the next lesson. What I Provide Step-by-step explanations tailored to the student’s level. Practice exercises, worksheets, or study tips. Support with homework, test prep, or building stronger fundamentals. Encouragement and strategies to improve confidence and study habits. Who I Work With I tutor elementary, middle, and high school students in math, science, and English. Whether a student is struggling to catch up, preparing for an exam, or aiming to excel beyond classwork, I adjust lessons to meet their needs.
