About Anna
Teaching allows me to combine my passion for creativity, communication, and helping others grow. I believe we are all inherently creative and capable of thinking critically about complex topics. My goal as a tutor is to create a supportive and engaging learning environment that nurtures curiosity and confidence. Alongside this, I equip my students with the practical and technical skills they need to succeed academically, like essay writing and critical analysis, all tailored to their individual needs. Teaching for me isn’t just about academic success—it’s about helping students explore their unique point of view, embrace their creativity, and feel empowered to express themselves through writing, performing, or critical analysis. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to help students achieve significant milestones. I’ve supported a drama student in improving from a predicted D to an A, helped ESOL students gain confidence in English speaking and writing, and assisted with dissertations and university entrance interviews. These experiences have reinforced my belief that, with the right support and tools, every student can excel.

Hi! I’m a London-based tutor with a First-Class degree in English Literature and Drama and a Distinction-level Master’s in Theatre and Performance. With seven years of experience in the arts, as well as a background in tutoring across various ages and nannying, I combine creativity, empathy, and expertise to make learning exciting and tailored to each student. I tutor English and Drama from primary to degree level, as well as Creative Writing, Art, and Religious Studies from primary to A-level. I offer online lessons, providing flexible and accessible support to students wherever they are. By blending my skills as an actor and educator, I aim to inspire confidence and curiosity in my students.
