About Rose Eleonor
Hello! I am Rose Eleanor L. Sagang, and I am excited to be your English teacher. With over ten years of teaching experience, a Master’s and PhD, and a strong passion for helping students succeed, I aim to create a learning environment that is engaging and supportive. Over the years, I have taught English and Research subjects to students at Cateel Vocational High School, where I focused on building language proficiency, critical thinking, and academic writing skills. I also had the privilege of mentoring students, providing both academic and pastoral support, and coaching student journalists who excelled in writing and media competitions. I believe in a learner-centered approach, where each student’s individual needs are considered to help them grow both academically and personally. My goal is to empower you to think critically, communicate effectively, and develop confidence in your abilities. I look forward to working with you and helping you achieve success!

Continuous formative feedback ensures steady improvement and growth. Each session lasts 50 to 60 minutes, providing a structured yet engaging learning experience. I teach English to Grades 9 and 10 and have spent the past four years teaching Research subjects to Grades 11 and 12 in Senior High School. With 10 years of secondary education teaching experience, a Master’s, and a PhD, I bring a strong academic background. My approach focuses on developing critical thinking, effective communication, and independent learning skills to help students apply their knowledge with confidence.
