About Carol
Hello! I am an English and Writing teacher with a Masters degree in English Literature, emphasizing on writing. I have been teaching and tutoring for 21 years, teaching writing composition and research, creative writing and ESL. I have taught at the university level, as well as community colleges and online. I have also taught ESL online to children in China.

I guide students through the writing process from personal essay to structuring argumentative research papers. I help them with researching, editing, and revising while encouraging them through peer editing, visual presentations, writing proposals, structuring bibliography cards, formatting outlines and Works Cited page as well as documentation. Through teaching I assist students in grammar, sentence style and structure, and punctuation/mechanics while encouraging them to strive for creativity through their own personal writing style.
