About MATHUMITHA
Hi, I'm Mathumitha, and I've been teaching English for the past 5 years. My journey into teaching started with a genuine love for language — the way it lets us express ideas, connect with people, and open doors to new opportunities. I use a communicative approach, encouraging students to speak from the very first class, even if they make mistakes.
I combine grammar instruction with practical exercises — role-plays, conversations, reading comprehension and writing tasks — so students see how rules apply in real situations.
I customize my lessons based on each student's level, goals and learning pace, whether they need help with basic sentence structure or advanced business communication.
I use audio-visual aids, real-life examples and interactive activities to keep lessons engaging rather than repetitive.
I regularly assess progress through small quizzes, speaking practice and writing assignments, and adjust my methods based on what works best for each student.
