About Candice
I’m an American, but I live in England at the moment. I have a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology with an athletic training concentration and a master’s degree with a biomechanics concentration. I was an athletic trainer for several years working with elite athletes, but in the midst of my career I journeyed to Japan to work as an ALT (assistant language teacher) for two years. I really enjoyed living and working in Japan, especially since my work helped students improve their language abilities. It was lovely to be apart of a small community and to learn about the traditional side of Japan. Even though I currently work full time at a hospital, I still enjoy helping others improve their English. I was a tutor with Cambly , but now feel ready to continue free lance. I was an ALT (assistant language teacher) in Japan for two years, so I have experience in helping with the improvement of one’s language abilities. As difficult as it can be sometimes, the best way to improve your English comprehension and ability, is by conversing with a native speaker. You can set the topic ahead of time and I can tailor the session to you. Or, I can set the topic and we can take that direction. Just the same, we can chat naturally and see how natural chatting develops. It’s up to you and what you feel comfortable with.
