About Ashiq
I am a pianist, an aspiring singer-songwriter, and a music composer and producer. I am currently a music student at the University of Hertfordshire, and I also hold a degree in English language & literature. My ambition is to make an identity of my own in the music world through my music. I have been playing piano for 17 years now, and to be honest, I used to take so much pride in the fact that I did something that others could not do. But I have realised that teaching my craft to others helps me understand on how others saw music. And the best thing about that was seeing others enjoy learning and playing the piano. I personally experienced that when I worked as an assistant piano tutor at the music institution where I learned years ago. That was a quick call from the management, as they were lacking piano and instrument tutors after the COVID-19 hit. I worked there for nearly 2 years on a part-time basis. As I said before, I want my students to enjoy their learning rather than feel bored. Whatever your aim is, I believe that I can guide you with all the necessary skills you need to learn this art.

I have a uniform and systematic approach to teaching. Taking things slow and helping my students keep that level of consistency in their learning by providing them with essential work to do. But hey!Don't worry!The work would not be that heavy in a way that makes you feel tired and boring. I have an empathetic and understanding attitude towards others, and I hope that I will be able to direct them in the right direction with my lessons.
I have been a pianist for 17 years now. I did my Grade 5 Piano Examination conducted by the Trinity College of London in 2015.
The typical length of a lesson would be 1 hour and I take lessons for all age groups.
