About Michael

I am an Australian graduate and student teacher who has lived in Scotland for the past eight years. I received an undergraduate degree in Creative Writing, Publishing, and Communications from Curtin University in Western Australia, and I am currently studying at University of Glasgow to become a Secondary English teacher.

About the lesson

My pedagogical approach involves scaffolding learning; working with pupils to increase confidence and develop important subjective knowledge through the process of active learning. Pupils are not vessels to be filled with knowledge, but individuals with different contexts, understandings, values, and learning needs.
