About Ivana
I’m Ivana, a 20-year-old Macedonian tutor, fluent in English, Macedonian, and Serbian. I’ve studied English intensively since I was five, attending Pegasus ELS English Language School while simultaneously learning English in elementary and middle school. I then completed four years at NOVA International Schools, studying entirely in English and finishing both the MYP and IB programs. I am currently completing my BA in Fashion and Luxury Business Management at GBSB Global Business School in Malta.
Having 15 years of experience with the English language, I understand the struggles students face and aim to make lessons fun, engaging, and confidence-boosting. My teaching approach is personalized to each student, focusing on vocabulary, grammar, communication, and interactive activities tailored to their needs, whether preparing for a test or completing an assignment, to make learning both enjoyable and effective.
Outside of academics, I have been a dancer for 14 years and have experience teaching dance to young children. This has taught me patience, creativity, and how to make learning both structured and fun — qualities I bring into my English lessons as well.
I strive to create a supportive environment where students feel confident, motivated, and proud of their progress, whether they are beginners, intermediate learners, or completing MYP/IB programs.

IB English Graduate with 15 years’ experience with the English language. I’ve studied English since I was five and completed both the MYP and IB programs. I understand that learning English can feel challenging, so I focus on making lessons fun, engaging, and confidence-boosting.
I offer fun, personalized English lessons tailored to each student’s learning style and goals. My methodology includes:
- Balanced skills development: speaking, listening, reading, and writing practice to build well-rounded English skills.
- Vocabulary and grammar in context: teaching words and grammar in practical, real-life situations.
- Interactive activities: games, role-plays, discussions, and storytelling to make learning engaging and enjoyable.
- Confidence building: encouraging students to speak and write without fear of mistakes.
- Flexible lessons: adjusting pace, difficulty, and content depending on each student’s needs.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes, online, and are suitable for kids, teens, beginners, intermediates, and MYP/IB students. My goal is not just to improve English, but to help students gain confidence, enjoy learning, and feel proud of their progress.
