About Maximillian
I am an English and History Tutor who has been working with students ranging from 2nd to 11th grade since November 2018. I graduated with honors in May of 2019, and this past summer I was published in my department's academic journal. With my aid, students have achieved higher grades as well as a newfound sense of understanding.

As a tutor, I specialize in English, History and Social Studies. Although I have taught students of all ages over the past two years, I have the most experience with students ranging from 6th grade up through high school. My approach as a tutor is to keep the environment casual yet focused. If students are having trouble grasping a concept, I aim to keep it level with them, often relying on analogies from popular books and culture. In this way, I show students that anything they have trouble with is not as alien as they once thought.
