About Pryam
In my three years of studying different types of literature, i simply want to wipe out the stigma of english classes being boring and futile. One of my professors used to say that literature is not about going to a corner somewhere and writing a love poem. Literature is supposed to 'disturb' you. I want to make sure that at the end of a lecture, my students should at least be able to think and have that ability to 'question' rather than just having that stilted mentality of mugging up answers and not actually learning.

A very constructive approach to the class will be taken keeping in mind that the lecture/discussion will be very much interactive and not a one sided discourse. Literature can be looked at from different standpoints and opinions may differ. Students will thus have the advantage of expressing their own understanding from their own viewpoints which will altogether help the entire class explore undiscovered depths and push the barriers of a 'mediocre' english class making the course interactive and most importantly, enjoyable.
