About Emelie
I have a degree in English Language and Linguistics, with a special interest in phonetics (sounds) and syntax (sentence structure). I started learning English around 19 years ago, and have lived in different parts of the UK for the past 12 years. This means I can combine my own experience of learning English with the technical know-how of languages. While I do believe all language is valid, it's important to be able to communicate without too much of a language barrier.

I personally believe that it is important to have a fun and relaxing environment to get the most out of lessons! This means getting used to making mistakes as soon as possible, and celebrating them! Mistakes are what make us better and stronger. I'll try my best to use your interests and incorporate them into the lesson plan, and of course everything is based on your individual goals and needs. Lessons include casual conversation, vocabulary, grammar, one of reading/writing/listening, and a mini-test to help with remembering. I cater to both adults and children, and have a PVG certificate.
