About Laine
I am a 2 year English Language and Linguistics student at the University of Sussex. I have experience teaching English as a foreign language at a Language School. I have a passion for both critical and creative writing which I want to share with other students. I achieved A* in GCSE English Literature, A in GCSE English Language, A* in IGCSE World Literature and A in A-Level English Language and Literature.

I am a patient, hard-working and motivated individual, which are the traits I use in my teaching process. I strive to allow students to work collaboratively so as to build their confidence so that they can support and learn from each other. Once they have built their confidence by working on their critical and creative reading and writing skills, I use of the method of practising what they have learnt through exposure to a variety of texts and activities, gradually increasing the difficulty to level to motivate and challenge them.
