About Danielle
I am a passionate English Literature and Language tutor and have had seven years experience across various areas: working in a tuition centre, in the further education sector and privately.
I mainly support GCSE students with their English Literature and Language exams with a mission to help students achieve their full potential and at the same time, build self confidence as well as attaining grades they have worked towards.

My lessons target students taking their GCSE English Literature and/or Language papers, both for the first time and also in further education for those resitting the exam. I specialise in tutoring the AQA curriculum but can of course tutor students on other exam boards.
Your first session is free of charge to gather a sense of what your learning style is and what you'd like to work on. I will then plan sessions accordingly across a given time frame, i.e. from January-May exams.
Each session is 1 hour long and will cover the main question focus, what examiners are looking for, and how to approach exam questions. For literature specifically, we will look at the texts you are studying along with a range of poetry to help with the unseen part of your exam. I will also help with revision techniques and finding what works best for you.
