About Noor
I am a Rhetoric and Writing student at UT Austin with years of experience in writing and studying English Language Arts throughout high school, including numerous awards and achievements. I have been volunteer tutoring peers for 4 years, resulting in success in IB English, and have professional tutoring experience at Kumon, resulting in prolonged success in English studies.

I have experience with neurodivergent, underprivileged, undermotivated students as well as students with high levels of motivation and no learning disabilities. I push students to find the subject interesting in their own way and learn to love it but also show them the importance of perseverance, creativity, curiosity, and good study habits. Having three siblings and many young family members, I am extremely patient with children and find compassion and bonding to be essential to healthy learning and tutoring.

Details
If a tutoring session needs to be cancelled completely or rescheduled, I would like to be informed at least 24 hours in advance. If it absolutely must be cancelled past the 24 hour point, I charge a $5 cancellation fee. I will also let students and parents know if I must cancel and if I cancel past the 24 hour point, I am willing to give up $5 of my paycheck.
