I approach tutoring with compassion, understanding, and patience. I want my students to feel comfortable learning whatever it is they need to, knowing that I will give my best to help advance their skills, free of judgment, and with a dedication to their learning. My role in their lives is to help them advance their academic abilities and to give them the skills they need in order to confidently approach these subjects on their own. I help students of all different sorts and my method of tutoring strongly depends on the specifics of what my student needs at the time. I believe in making my students feel comfortable with the skill level they are at and then raising that skill level over time by adding elements of understanding in a natural way that will pave the way for them to find answers for themselves, rather than from me. That, ultimately, is the end goal of my lessons: to have my students walk away being able to apply the knowledge they've acquired as easily as I can.
