About Ettienne

My name is Ettienne, and teaching is a passion and a calling for me. There is no occupation I know of that brings with it the immense job satisfaction that the world of teaching does. Being able to share a students journey, from their humble beginnings to where they are actively enjoying the learning process is an experience that is second to none.

My qualifications, which include a BA in English - Language and Literature and a level 5 TEFL course (the highest level attainable) reflect my passion for English and for teaching it. In my spare time I regularly enter short story competitions, not only because I greatly enjoy this hobby but because it keeps my grammar sharp and continually grows and expands my vocabulary.

About the lesson

As a special needs teacher for fifteen years, I bring experience, patience, and the ability to adapt to each individual students needs.

Each lesson and each student are treated as a unique experience and unique individual, with my lessons tailor-made for each learner.

I am an expert in English and in teaching it; students can expect a well-prepared lesson from a patient teacher who enjoys generating enthusiasm for the lesson via humour and empathy.

I am able to accommodate students of all levels and ages.
