About Soumita
I am a high school student. I am giving classes in English because I have an incredible admiration towards the subject.
I have have taught students before, and I will try my best.
When one can bond with their teacher learning becomes much easier. Myself being a high school student can comfortably communicate and understand pre-teen middle schoolers due to the less age gap.
Therefore, I hope you will give me a chance to interact with your ward.

My teaching method consists of these steps:
• I start by an introductory class in which I focus more on the interaction of the student with the teacher rather than starting off with full fledged classes. This class also determines the interest of the student on the subject that is being taught. This helps the student to be comfortable with the teacher and makes learning in the upcoming classes fun. Towards the end of this first class I start with subtle explanations of the basics of the subject. The student can concentrate better since he/she has been freed from anxiety of meeting a new teacher and a new environment. In this class, I give mild homeworks to the child, so that he/she can be in touch with the topic.
•On the next few classes I start by explaining the first chapter in their syllabus in depth. After I am done with the descriptions I make sure that their concepts of the topic is cleared by holding doubt clearing sessions. This class consists of less to no written homework, instead i ask the student to study the topic really well.
• Since, the child has learned the chapter by now, I take multiple tests and revisions on that topic or chapter in the following classes until I make sure that the child is prepared and knows the depths of the topic.
This process continues until the syllabus is complete. Then I take more tests on the whole syllabus. Other than that I also take a combined test for a few chapters at a time.
Other than just academic studying, I try to provide the ward with tips and tricks on how to learn faster.
