About Derek
I have a passion for teaching. I am doing so that I can give my students confidence in whatever situation they need help whether it is for a job interview or if it is to improve their communication in their workplace. The feedback I have received in the past is that my students feel greater confidence to speak like native speakers after a few lessons with me. My teaching is student focused I am here to help the student improve in a safe environment.

I help my students learn improve their English Language Skills by engaging them in conversation. My methodology includes having my student read articles from other platforms like Engoo and Wall Street Journal. I have taught students from the Grade 2 level up to Students enrolled for their Masters and Doctorate Thesis. I have taught online and distance learning over 15 years. Three years in person at Seneca Community College in Canada. My flexibility and ability to guage my student needs means I have been able to help many students at different levels.
