About Ian
I am a medical student, and I spent almost 5 years in Sydney, Australia to study. I had various encounter with foreigners with different walks of life, mostly with doctors, clinical staff, and patients in hospital. I had rapid improvement in my English proficiency while going abroad and like many others, I struggled initially to understand how the 'locals' Australian speak. After long duration of exposure with English environment, I transformed from being 'less-proficient' to 'great proficiency', even though my IELTS result achieved satisfaction before I studied overseas. I can also speak Mandarin, Hokkien, Bahasa Melayu, and some Cantonese.
I am doing this lesson as my part time, I am happy to teach what I have learnt overseas, and help those who want to go studies in English countries.

I can provide you 1-1 online tutoring in learning English such as speaking during the session in a daily basis, and guide you in progress of your learning.
I can also provide you some practice and guidance in preparation for your English test such as IELTS and its tips of the test. I can help to identify your areas for improvement, while me being a non-native speaker from poor-to-subpar to great proficiency. I can provide or sub-simulate the English environment, where I encourage you to speak and express yourself in English during the session.
English is a language learning, where daily practice is essential to harness the ability of your language skills, where you can improve more quickly by speaking with another adequate English speaker.
我可以提供你一对一网上英语辅导，例如口语，给你日常引导日常你的英语能力的进步，帮你更好学英语。
我也可以给你些关于英语雅思考试的练习和引导来帮你应付考试。我可以帮你辨认你的错误让你更快进步，因为我也是从不太会说英语到精通英语，在澳洲学习了很多。我可以给些‘模拟’英语环境，在课堂里鼓励你说英语还有表达，然后从中我也可以纠正在英语国家不太规范的说法。
我认为要学好英语，跟其他语言一样，需要日常的学习和习惯用它，才能有快速英语能力的进展。
