About Aaria
My name is Aaria Ladak and I am a student at the University of Warwick studying Politics, International Studies and Hispanic Studies with the long term goal of working in journalism. My favourite subject throughout school from years 7-13 has been English. I love to tutor English because I am aware that it isn’t typically a school favourite especially for GCSE. However, when it is explored outside of a classroom where discussions can be open, I believe more students would find it less restrictive and more enjoyable, leading to higher grade attainment.

My passion for English will make our lessons engaging and enjoyable as we will look at the curriculum in a new light and explore challenging parts of the course in depth which are often harder to understand in a classroom environment. Lessons will largely be catered to what the student feels less confident with. Students will have access to my study notes, essays and other resources to assist them with their own studies. Typical length of a lesson will be one hour. I have achieved A* in both English Language and English Literature GCSE and I have studied English Language A Level achieving A+ in my coursework and an A overall. I have previously worked with students and young people numerous times through tutoring, student camps, in school activities and child minding. I have also worked as a writer which has enabled me to expand my skill set in this field.
