About Lauren
I have a dual Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Creative Writing, cum laude, with honors. During college, I wrote a 59-page honors thesis all my own and presented it at a conference. As a tutor, I've helped students increase their understanding of writing and literature, as I have degrees in both, and have enabled students to feel pride in their grades and competencies.

Beginning sessions are get-to-know-you, both personally and academically. I want to get an understanding of where you stand with the material. Then, I choose targeted areas for us to work on based on my assessment. If you struggle with comprehension, we will read and answer comprehension questions. If open-ended questions give you trouble, we will learn to identify content and how to write academically.
