About Anshita
Hello! My academic journey in English Literature has been driven by a deep appreciation for language, literature, and the power of ideas. Alongside my academic pursuits, I am preparing for UGC NET and UPSC, continually expanding my understanding of literary texts, criticism, and academic writing.
Beyond academics, I enjoy reading across genres, writing poetry, and exploring the connections between literature, history, philosophy, psychology, and culture. I believe that great literature not only tells stories but also encourages us to think critically, empathize deeply, and see the world through new perspectives.
Teaching, for me, is an opportunity to share this passion with others. I hope to inspire curiosity, meaningful discussions, and a genuine love for learning while helping students build confidence in their understanding of English language and literature. I believe that learning English goes beyond memorizing grammar rules or literary terms—it is about developing confidence, critical thinking, and the ability to express ideas clearly. My classes are designed to make literature engaging, language accessible, and writing purposeful.
I teach school students (Classes 6–12), undergraduate and postgraduate learners (including BA/MA English and IGNOU), as well as students preparing for competitive examinations such as UGC NET English Literature and UPSC English Literature Optional. Whether your goal is to improve grades, strengthen concepts, prepare for exams, or become a better writer and communicator, every lesson is tailored to your individual needs and learning pace.
My teaching focuses on concept-based learning rather than rote memorization. Each class includes clear explanations, close reading of texts, interactive discussions, grammar practice, vocabulary building, answer-writing strategies, and regular feedback. Students are encouraged to ask questions, think critically, and connect literature with history, culture, philosophy, and contemporary issues.
I also offer guidance in academic writing, essay writing, literary criticism, research writing, creative writing, and communication skills. My aim is to help students become confident readers, thoughtful writers, and independent learners while achieving their academic and personal goals. Every lesson is structured, supportive, and designed to make English enjoyable as well as academically rewarding.
