About Zoe
As a recent English Literature and Music graduate I am keen to help students improve their English skills. I understand first hand that English (literature or language) can be something tricky to get your head round whether your passions lie in it or not. As a tutor, I would like to help students reach their full potential and prepare them for their next stage of life (in terms of writing, reading and comprehending texts). As a young graduate, I am very sympathetic to the difficulties you encounter in school and would be patient and understanding.

I would tailor my tutoring sessions to the student. The typical length of a lesson would be one hour however I would be open to discussion (student dependent). I have experience teaching young people from year 6 to sixth form. Depending on the purpose of lessons: reading and comprehension practice (primary), GCSE or A level I would structure my lessons according to the ways of learning that best suit the student. I have done placement in schools throughout university and have a preliminary qualification in teacher training therefore I am aware of multiple different learning and teaching styles.
