About Zoe
Hi!
My name is Zoe, I recently graduated from Lancaster University studying English Literature with my final year disseration based on Women in Horror and Video Games.
Throughout my own time at school I have helped other students develop their skills within English, from guided reading to helping with reading comprehension and exam revision.
I wholeheartedly believe that English Literature is a subject that any student can excell in with appropriate help, regardless of their confidence or academic level.
My lessons as a tutor are client focused, meaning whatever it is you struggle with within English, we will base our lessons upon that and grow your skills, knowledge and confidence.

Witghin my lessons, my aim to help students approach intimidating texts, concepts and themes in a relaxed and open environment.
Everyone learns differently and this informs the way I teach, with open dialogue around texts and concepts, guided reading, reading comprehension questions and mock essay questions. All of these techniques can help a student develop a greaterunderstanding of English Literature and hopefully, in time, a passion for it.
My lessons are typically an hour long with set questions to discuss during the session based on reading or extra materials that I will provide.
I am avainable for all academic levels from KS3 to A-Level.
