About Niamh
I have a year of tutoring experience and an impressive academic resume from which to help my students. I am a graduate from Durham University with a degree in English Literature, and I received three A*’s in my A-Level subjects: English Literature, History and Politics. I particularly tutor in OCR A-level English Literature, alongside Edexcel History and Edexcel Politics. I also offer AQA English Literature tutoring at GCSE, and English Literature degree assistance.

In my sessions I offer help with homework, reviewing tests done at school, setting my own tests and homework for the student, assisting with any new content misunderstandings, and I offer struggle area-specific sessions. My teaching style is flexible for each of my students, but maintains a general default structure to maximise the productivity of each session. I make sure to learn about and prioritise the weakest areas of my students in their subject and adapt to what activities they find most helpful for their academic progress.
