About Caitlin
I have earned my GCSEs in English literature and Language, which were both grade 9, full marks. This is the equivalent to A*s, under the old GCSE system. I would absolutely love to pass on my knowledge to anyone in need of it; I have a passion for the subject and would be more than happy to teach, encourage and pass on my love for language and literature to others!

My teaching method for English literature is largely dictated by each individual student. I go through each section of texts and analyse them in the light of different themes which are present, and then compile a set of quotations and analysis which are specific to each theme or character. I usually focus on what the individual would struggle with initially, and prioritise this.
For language, it would be going through past papers and teaching different techniques which writers use for each of their intentions, and the way they use representation for meaning.
