I am a university student, majoring in English with a Literature focus, and minoring in Art History and Religious Studies. I am skilled at analyzing literature contextually, through close reading, and by writing academic essays. I am currently working on self-publishing a short poetry collection.

My approach to tutoring varies with every student. I like to go through the text and see how they read, what they pick up on, and if I can offer guidance on making connections throughout the text they may not have noticed earlier. When it comes time to reflect, I want to see what students have taken away from the text with their individual perspective, and help them shape that into a well written essay.
